Inspired by the historical "plantation chair", where its elongated armrests were originally designed to serve as integrated footrests. I wanted to preserve the spirit of that gesture while rethinking its purpose for today's user.

Every intersection is treated as an opportunity to create continuity. The legs, arms, and seat flow seamlessly into one another allowing the craftsmanship to be expressed through these carefully considered connections. Movement from one element to the next becomes the defining visual language of the piece.
